Referrals are now being taken for the next Royal British Legion-funded GiveGetGo programme.
Designed for people who are looking for work, this cohort of the is 12-week programme, led by the Transform Lives Company, is specifically for veterans and links them with volunteering opportunities and training. As well as volunteering at the National Trust, Everton in the Community and at the University of Liverpool, there is also one-to-one coaching for job searches, applications and interviews, and plenty of other veteran-specific advice.
The next programme will start in 2018 and there will be two sessions each week held at Liverpool city centre venues and travel expenses are also funded (up to £5 per day).
