On 17th March and from the historic port of Falmouth, Full Circle sets sail on an extraordinary journey around the coast of the United Kingdom.
Two tall ships, 200 nautical miles, 22 ports and 12 weeks at sea – all powered by the spirit of over 70 serving and veteran members of the Armed Forces. This remarkable expedition is more than a voyage. It’s a powerful story of courage, service and renewal – a testament to how adventure and the sea can help heal, inspire, and bring people together.
Turn to Starboard is proud to announce that this undertaking will be in partnership with Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, uniting two organisations committed to empowering veterans through challenge, camaraderie, and community.
If you live near one of the stop locations on Full Circle, we’d love to invite you to come and be part of it. Veteran loneliness doesn’t always mean being alone. Sometimes it’s missing easy camaraderie, shared stories, or unspoken understanding. Small moments of connection matter. You’re welcome to come down to the waterfront, visit the boats, meet the crew, have a brew, and spend some time with other veterans who get it. Alongside the daytime visits, many locations will also host sea shanty music in local venues.
You can drop in for ten minutes or stay longer. Come on your own or bring a mate. Engage in as little or as much as feels right. We hope you’ll come and say hello as you’ll be very welcome.
