The Merseyside Health Sector Career and Engagement Hub is holding a career insight day for personnel leaving the Armed Forces on Thursday 8 March.
Held in partnership with St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the event is part of the NHS’s Step into Health programme which has been created to encourage veterans to consider an NHS career when their service comes to an end.
At the event, held at Whiston Hospital from 9.30am – 3.30pm, you’ll be able to find out about available roles as well as speak to veterans who are already working in the NHS.
The NHS is Europe’s largest employer with over 350 different job roles, over half of which are non-clinical.
To attend the event you must book a place and bring photo ID on the day.
